Postino (Simple Italian Postman?) http://postinorestaurant.com/ What a difference a day makes? It was monday evening. Both Forum & I were not in any mood of cooking and thus we decided to go to an italian restaurant in the beautiful city of Lafayette. Random Google search, led me to this beautiful californian-italian place. The restaurant had its own charm with all brickish architecture adorned by faux finish and a woodburning oven. Forum ordered her all time favourite: home made pasta with marinara sauce and side of Alfredo and I ordered their egg plant parmesian with melted cheese and crispy basil on top. Great dishes, great taste though I must say that the best out of the breed was their home-bread with garlic-butter. The place also has an outside seating (sign of a romantic place, though we didn't dare to seat with rains falling cats-and-dogs). Overall, I would rate this as 8/10
